What to expect working with Angel Gomez


Finding the Perfect Model:

Our journey begins with selecting the perfect model for our the project.

 

Makeup and Hair Consultation

We strive to ensure that your hair and makeup perfectly align with the vision for this Boho-inspired shoot. When available, we will arrange a consultation with our skilled Makeup Artist and Hairstylist (MUAH) team to collaborate on your look.

During the consultation, we will:

  • Discuss and refine ideas for your desired hair and makeup style.

  • Ensure the chosen look complements the theme and enhances your unique features.

  • Provide expert guidance on styles, trends, and techniques to achieve a cohesive aesthetic.

Note: In some cases, a MUAH may not be available. If this is the case, the model will be responsible for arriving with hair and makeup ready. To assist, we will provide detailed styling inspiration and clear instructions to help you create the perfect look for the shoot.

 

Workflow Guide:

Simultaneously, I'll provide you with a comprehensive workflow guide to give you insight into my photography process. Understanding the process helps ensure we capture beautiful images.

 

Outfit and Accessory Selection:

I'll ask you to share photos of outfits, accessories, and any items that align with the project's theme. Together, we'll curate the perfect selection for your shoot. Additionally, I may suggest a few outfits from my collection.

 

Setting the Date, Time, and Location:

Once we've finalized your look and outfits, we'll set a date, time, and location for the shoot. If this is a casting call, these details should already be established.

THE PROCESS

Skin Care Preparation: It's essential to prepare your skin by keeping it hydrated and well-maintained. Drinking plenty of water and using sunscreen are key steps in this process.

 

Escort for Comfort:

We recommend that you bring an escort to the shoot to enhance your comfort and confidence during the process. Your well-being is our priority.

 

Pose Guide:

I will furnish you with a pose guide to both inspire and direct you throughout the photo session. I have a preference for organic poses infused with an editorial touch, and I will be there to help you refine them. The link can be located at the bottom of this page.

ON THE DAY


Shoot Day Preparation:

On the day of your shoot, we'll allocate a prep time for MUAH, which typically takes about two hours. We may work on location or in a designated area.

 

Model Release Form:

You'll receive a model release form to complete, ensuring we have the necessary permissions in place.

 

The Photoshoot:

The actual photoshoot will last approximately two to three hours. Time flies when you're having fun! We'll provide drinks and snacks for your comfort.

A FEW THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND

Nutrition: It's vital to have a hearty meal in the morning to maintain your energy levels throughout the shoot.

 

Editing Process:

After the shoot, I'll begin the editing process, enhancing and perfecting the images. If you have any specific editing requests, please communicate them at this stage. Rest assured that all editing details are kept confidential.

 

Delivery of Edited Photos:

Approximately a week later, you'll receive an email with a link to your edited photos. You'll have access to a private gallery and even a print store if you wish to purchase prints or accessories.

 

Image Download and Sharing:

You'll be able to download and share your images as desired, allowing you to showcase your stunning photos with the world.
